2nd Annual FanFest Belle-Clair Speedway
The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midgets and Stark Automotive Group/Mid-State Equipment Badger Midget Series will be co-sanctioning the 2nd annual FanFest on Friday 7/1 and Saturday 7/2 at Belle-Clair Speedway. The FanFest presented by Budweiser will have two complete National Midget and 600cc Outlaw Micro events. Friday and Saturday will be two complete shows with Saturday’s Midget Feature paying $3000.00 to WIN and Saturday’s 600cc Outlaw Micros paying a $1000.00 to WIN.
The event is being taped by NEWAVE Productions for delayed broadcast on SPEED Channel LUCAS Oil on the Edge. Specific air times have yet to be determined and will most likely be aired in the fall. Lucas Oil on the Edge is an exciting show that will help expose SPEED viewers to Midget Racing. This is a great opportunity for continued growth of POWRi/Badger drivers and teams. Television coverage is a big step for our organization and our competitors, it is the perfect way to showcase this great sport and its people. The combination of NeWave, Lucas Oil, and SPEED have showcased some of the nation's best racing over the past few years
The festivities at Belle-Clair will include a "midway" with a display of vintage race cars under the roof of the Expo Building, driver meet & greet along with the POWRi Apparel trailer for checking out your souvenir needs.
Friday and Saturday gates open at 4:00pm, hot laps at 6:00pm and racing at 7:00pm. General admission for Friday and Saturday is $15.00 kids 12 and under free. Tickets can be purchased with a ($2.00 savings) at Don’s Hardware in Belleville IL.
